A Collection Of Live Recordings From 2010´s

Over the past decade we have published many hours worth of live material. Now we have collected the best pieces together on one album, Dark Layers. So that you, as our fan, don't have to go through all of our live material to find the best parts. We have included some previously unreleased stuff on it too. Dark Layers also serves as a kind of time capsule capturing the different crew combinations over the years and the evolving style of Burning Cities from the very early bits like ´Dark Galaxies´ to the most recently recorded piece, ´Saboteur!´.

Why we did this? Well, we probably would have done it at some point anyway. Still, now was the perfect opportunity to release this since we can't really do any studio work, rehearsing or live performances because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Otherwise we would have used this time to finalize our upcoming studio album that has now been delayed until later this year (or early next year).

Anyway, we hope you enjoy this compilation of our history and evolution as a live band. Stay tuned for more!
